Andrew Peterson Dies at Wallace

Andrew Peterson, 96, one of the oldest settlers in Wallace, died at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning in his home. Mr. Peterson had never been ill until about five days ago, and his death was attributed to infirmities due to old age. He was born in Sweden and had resided in Wallace for 58 years.

The survivors are his widow; a daughter, Mrs Swan Swaningson, Ingalls, and two sons, Emil and Arvid Peterson, Wallace.

The body was taken to the Larson mortuary in Menominee to be prepared for burial and the funeral will be held on Friday afternoon at 2:00 at the Wallace Lutheran Church, the Rev. Fred G. Olson will officiate.
